PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI – Brad Pfaff has once again firmly planting himself in the Defund the Police Camp by campaigning with Mandela Barnes tonight, the same candidate who was forced to admit to lying about getting the endorsement from multiple law enforcement officers in Wisconsin, including one of our officers in La Crosse. Like Barnes, Brad Pfaff has virtually no support from active police officers as our police understand that Pfaff and Barnes will throw them under the bus for political purposes just like they did during the Kenosha riots.
On the other hand, Derrick Van Orden has the bipartisan endorsement of 16 of the 19 Sheriffs in the 3rd Congressional District, the Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police, and the Milwaukee Police Association. Our police support Derrick because he supports them and respects their work for our communities.
Derrick Van Orden released the following statement on Pfaff campaigning with Defund Democrats:
“Unlike Pfaff and Barnes, I do not look at Law Enforcement as adversaries, I see them and their families as some of the bravest amongst us. They head off to work or watch their loved ones walk out the door every day without knowing if they will come home. They protect our families as we sleep and deserve our utmost respect.
Our country is suffering from the worst crime wave in my lifetime and it is about time we recognize and thank the men and women who stand between us and the breach.
I will always Back the Blue.”
